NEET MDS 2026 registration process has started. The last date to apply is March 30, 2026. Candidates can register online on the official website at natboard.edu.in for admission to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes. The NEET MDS 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 2, 2026. The application fee is INR 3,500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 2,500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

In Bidar, Karnataka, the SB Patil Dental College and Hospital is a private college. It was established in the year 1990–1991 and has been affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The college has been also approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI). A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree is available from the college. The 5-year programme consists of a 1-year internship in addition to 4 years of academic and clinical study. The college has a good infrastructure with modern labs and lecture halls. A playground, a library, and a guesthouse are also present. The college's staff consists of knowledgeable and experienced professors. However, both students and alumni have had conflicting opinions about the college.
